fenômenos no processo formativo do pedagogo.
The present research is linked to the fields of Education and Health, studying the initial education process of the pedagogue in graduation regarding his performance in hospital classes, an area under construction, whose lack of scientific production justifies the study. It is characterized as a qualitative, interpretative, and documental research, which sought to understand and interpret phenomena in the educator's formative process. The construction of data took place through the analysis of political pedagogical projects (PPPs) of five (5) public universities in São Paulo’s state. After numerous readings of the documents, the corpus of the PPPs was analyzed, searching for similarities with the theoretical constructs, which are the synthesis of the readings on the themes of teacher education and hospital classes. These constructs are the axes of analysis that, grouped again by theme similarities, gave rise to the initial categories, which made it possible to respond to our research problem: How does the education process occur in the pedagogue's graduation regarding performance in hospital classes? The research also made it possible to deal with the tensions that drive the educational policies of school inclusion, which, although maintaining the homogeneity of the courses, aiming to guarantee the professional's performance, limit new scenarios for the teaching profession. The survey of publications and needs of Hospital Classes also show the lack of actors and publications on training, allowing us to understand that the education paths of pedagogues from initial education can contribute to specialization courses to work in Hospital Class, collaborating in the construction of a personal project of professionalization. We emphasize that the results obtained do not include private universities and universities from other Brazilian states, so that the results point to training openings, providing lines of thought that contribute to new studies.
