humano.
Repousar, Comer, Sociabilizar, Lazer, Auto Cuidar, Morar, Aprender, Deslocar e
Trabalhar.
The present work is based on the theoretical concepts of the theaching module: “Action as a precursor of human thought” of the course Occupational Therapy UNIFESP – Campus Santos Region and addresses the question of everyday life as a constituent of the subject in its territory. The theoretical benchmarks point to the construction of the reasoning the of how process of action produces the thinking and consequences of this conception of human knowledge. By articulating these concepts with the Occupational Therapy, seeks a professional practice not focused in the pathology itself, but in potency of the person revealing the subtleties of everyday life. Rather than propose evaluation in the traditional format, it was planned to construct an instrument that qualifies the action and potency of the person where through a detailed look on the subtleties that composing everyday life and the importance of action in to human constitution, became coherent evaluate the person in this same vein. The “Inventory of Potential” is composed by "sectors of everyday life": Sleep, Eat, Socialize, Leisure, Self Care, Living, Learning, and Work. Each sector is detailed through the "categories": sensation, location, schedules, habits, utensils, relationships and rhythm. This instrument was administered in twelve users of mental health network of the city of Santos, and by be is a dense research, with analysis extensive of content, resulted in two monographs. This monograph covers the inventories from 07 to 12 sequentially. After application and analysis of this mapping, emerged difficulties, ruptures, potential, and meaningful activities that make up this everyday life revealing how this person arises in the world. Thereby it was found that the instrument can serve as a basis for development of Occupational Therapy practices, focused on the process of coordination of action and emotion of the subject with his group, the reconstruction of operative chains of everyday life, in the expansion its field operative, in the incorporation of actions and gestures externalized and in the forms of bodily sensitivity
