junto a três mulheres cisgêneras profissionais do sexo inseridas no mercado,
A justificativa do estudo
A pesquisa buscou
Todas valorizam e
investem no corpo a partir do modelo padrão vigente e o entendem como
profissionais do sexo
This course completion work results from a survey conducted with three sex workers of the sex industry in the market for at least 2 years. The methodology used was based on a qualitative approach, performing semi-structured interviews with sex workers working in circuits in the city of São Paulo. The justification of the study was based on developing a reflection that sought to understand how this woman sees in the dimensions brought about by the status of sex professional. Thus, this research aimed to understand how sex workers understand and see their own body, not only in their anatomical constitution, but also to understand the socially constructed subjective meanings and representations. The research also sought to understand how they live and understand their sexuality and how they mean their existence and understand the stigma related to the profession. Based on the interviews and reflections, one of the objectives was to elaborate a proposal of an educational workshop with female sex workers, seeking to problematize themes of gender, sexuality and body that can compose the professional practice of physiotherapy, adding cultural and social dimensions to discuss the genitalia feminine from the experiences of the women themselves, so that they can better know their own body, including anatomically. The results of the study revealed that the participants had no affinity with the terms sexuality and genitalia. They all value and invest in the body from the current standard model and understand it as central to the profession. The stigma was revealed in the fact that two of them concealed the profession of the people from their conviviality as a way of protecting themselves. The work also allowed to elaborate an educative proposal for the professional practice and some elements of the life of the professional women of the sex.
