Resumo
Esse trabalho busca a análise de recortes geracionais presentes no mercado de trabalho, referente as gerações Baby Boomers, geração X, Y e Z, de forma a compreender as características geracionais que possuem e como se comportam no mercado de trabalho atual. Esta pesquisa analisou autores diversos para identificar na literatura existente qual o comportamento de cada geração no ambiente organizacional para fins de investigação de como se caracterizam e diferenciam. Foi utilizado na metodologia de pesquisa um recorte histórico na análise de artigos extraídos por meio da base de dados Web of Science, com limitação dos anos 2018-2022, pautando-se de literatura recente para responder ao objetivo geral e objetivos específicos propostos, analisando os dez artigos de maior impacto por meio da pesquisa bibliométrica e do método qualitativo de estudo, que busca interpretar aspectos subjetivos. Este trabalho possibilitou ponderações referente as distinções das gerações, características e o que buscam no contexto do mercado de trabalho, assim como suas expectativas, tendo-se em vista a singularidade de cada geração. Como resultados finais foi possível compreender o impacto positivo que a diversidade geracional proporciona nas organizações, além de contribuir para os estudos sobre o tema no país.
This paper seeks to analyze the different generations that are present at the workplace, such as Baby Boomers, generations X, Y and Z, in order to comprehend the characteristics of each Generation and how they currently behave at the workplace. This paper analyzed diverse authors to identify in the existent literature which is the behavior of each generation, to investigate how they differ from each other. In the methodology of this research it was used only articles from a historical period from 2018-2022 obtained from the database Web of Science, focusing on the use of actual literature to answer the general objective and the specific objectives, analyzing the ten articles with most relevance throw the bibliometric research and the qualitative method, that seeks the interpretation of subjective aspects. This paper made possible ponderations referring to the distinctions of the generations, their characteristics and what they are looking for throw the workplace context, such as their expectations, due to the fact of the singularity of each Generation. As final results it was possible to understand the positive impact of generational diversity at the organizations, besides contributing for the studies about this theme in the country.
