Objective: To analyze the potentialities and weaknesses of the training process based on the adoption of online remote teaching methodologies imposed by the pandemic caused by Sars-Cov-2, in the teaching/learning process developed within the scope of the Health Department of Colégio Técnico de Limeira – Cotil/ State University of Campinas - Unicamp. Remote teaching and the use of information technologies, of an emergency and compulsorynature in the face of the pandemic, were analyzed regarding their assertiveness and challenges within the scope of technical training in nursing and about a possible adoption of the hybrid teaching model for the technical level in nursing. Methods: Qualitative, exploratory, descriptive research, through semi-structured interviews with the coordination and teachers and focus group with the students and document analysis, seeking to understand the perception of the actors involved. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis in the thematic modality. The documents were considered as guiding elements, but were not subjected to said analysis. Results: The teaching staff considers that the organization of the teaching/learning process suffered a strong impact given the difficulty of using remote teaching; They pointed out aspects such as: difficulty in building curricular contents in a more synthetic and interactive way in a more synthetic and interactive way, in addition to the need to redefine evaluation parameters and redesign interdisciplinarity - they also believe that permanent education is necessary regarding the use of active methodologies and the use of information technologies . The student body reports having missed the use of more interesting classes and pointed to an overload of tasks; they also mention that they did not have the proper commitment and were closer to the technologies used, but would not like a hybrid teaching for the nursing course, as they believe that the face-to-face course is richer in all senses.
