Resumo
Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo realizar um cotejo entre a obra poética de Augusto dos
Anjos e a obra poética do heterônimo Álvaro de Campos-Fernando Pessoa, tendo como
elemento comparativo entre as duas obras o sintagma noite, marcante em ambas. Na mitologia
arcaica grega, a Noite Negra é a expressão do Não-Ser, filha do Kháos. Mãe do Céu e da Terra,
geradora do sono e da morte, dos sonhos e das angústias, da ternura e do engano. No campo
literário e poético, na maioria das vezes, representa o momento da angústia, o abrigo das paixões
inconfessáveis, dos mistérios e da tristeza. À vista disso, compreender o que significa a noite
para ambos os poetas é extremamente desafiador, pois nos leva a uma busca interpretativa da
relação que os seus conceitos derivados ou a ele relacionados (sombra, insônia, sonhos e
escuridão) têm com o pensamento moderno e com o desejo intenso de representar o infinito e
o mistério que há na vida humana. Nesse sentido, pode-se dizer que tanto Augusto dos Anjos
quanto Fernando Pessoa cantaram a desordem de um mundo moribundo e desordenado. Os
poetas criaram uma poesia desconfortável, em que há uma ruptura, uma violação da linguagem
poética, uma produção inovadora que se mostra em desacordo com as concepções mais
figurativas de abordagem do real. As personas construídas pelos poetas deixam manifesto sua
fundamentação na obscuridade noturna e, ao aspirarem vislumbrar a natureza da existência,
partem do princípio de seu potencial transfigurador. São sujeitos poéticos que revelam uma
busca de si mesmo numa jornada íntima pelo emaranhado labirinto noturno. Desse modo, os
poetas transpõem os limites de espaço e tempo, apresentado um sujeito que se mostra cindido
entre as fronteiras da realidade vista, sentida do mundo, do ser e o vazio do não-ser. Assim, a
pesquisa incide basicamente na análise textual de poemas do livro Poesia Completa de Álvaro
de Campos (2007) de Fernando Pessoa e do livro Eu e outras poesias (2015) de Augusto dos
Anjos, buscando compreender os efeitos poéticos obtidos pela utilização do signo noite e seus
diferentes significados na poesia dos dois autores.
This research aims to make a comparison between the poetic work of Augusto dos Anjos and the poetic work of the heteronym Álvaro de Campos-Fernando Pessoa, having as a comparative element between the two works the phrase night, striking in both. In archaic Greek mythology, the Black Night is the expression of Non-Being, daughter of Kháos. Mother of Heaven and Earth, generator of sleep and death, of dreams and anguish, of tenderness and deceit. In the literary and poetic field, most of the time, it represents the moment of anguish, the shelter of unconfessed passions, mysteries and sadness. Considering that, understanding what the night means for both poets is extremely challenging, as it leads us to an interpretive search for the relationship that their derived or related concepts (shadow, insomnia, dreams and darkness) have with modern thought. and with the intense desire to represent the infinite and the mystery that exists in human life. In this sense, it can be said that both Augusto dos Anjos and Fernando Pessoa sang about the chaos of a dying and disordered world. The poets created an uncomfortable poetry, in which there is a rupture, a violation of poetic language, an innovative production that appears to be at odds with the most figurative conceptions of approaching the real. The personas constructed by the poets make their foundations manifest in the nocturnal obscurity and, as they aspire to glimpse the nature of existence, they start from the principle of its transfiguring potential. They are poetic subjects who reveal a search for themselves in an intimate journey through the tangled night labyrinth. In this way, the poets transpose the limits of space and time, presenting a subject who shows himself split between the borders of the seen, felt the reality of the world, of being and the void of non-being. Thus, the research basically focuses on the textual analysis of poems from the book Poesia Completa by Álvaro de Campos (2007) by Fernando Pessoa and from the book Eu e outros poesias (2015) by Augusto dos Anjos, seeking to understand the poetic effects obtained by the use of the sign night and its different meanings in the poetry of the two authors.
