Contribuições de Paulo Freire para a temática Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) nos Encontros Nacionais de Ensino de Química (ENEQ)

Resumo
O presente trabalho insere-se no campo de estudos e pesquisas da Educação Química e tem por objetivo analisar o que tem sido estudado sobre Paulo Freire em trabalhos relacionado à temática de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) nas pesquisas da área de Educação Química apresentadas nos últimos 5 ENEQs (2010-2018). Para isso, baseados em pressupostos da pesquisa qualitativa e de caráter documental, buscamos no site dos eventos científicos trabalhos
relacionados à temática EJA e em seguida selecionamos os trabalhos completos que traziam em suas referências obras de Paulo Freire. As análises foram construídas a partir da investigação de conteúdo pelos seguintes eixos: o primeiro investigou a caracterização dos trabalhos de acordo com a região, instituição de origem, temas e autores mais citados, e o segundo as contribuições de Paulo Freire. Os estudos sobre a caracterização dos trabalhos acenam para uma
porcentagem maior de publicações na região sudeste, majoritariamente provenientes de instituições públicas, que tratam de temas relacionados ao ensino e aprendizagem do público jovem e adulto, com Paulo Freire ocupando o lugar de autor mais referenciado. O que contribui para fomentar debates sobre educação libertadora, educação bancária, desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico e reflexão sobre a prática. Esses resultados mostram a atualidade do Paulo Freire para a temática de EJA e sua importância para a educação brasileira, a fundamentação
para as pesquisas e a prática sobre a EJA.
The present project is a part of the field of studies and research in Chemical Education and aims to analyze what has been studied about Paulo Freire in projects related to the theme of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) in research in the area of Chemical Education presented in the last 5 ENEQs (20102018). In this regard, based on assumptions of qualitative and documentary research, we searched in the scientific events website for works related to the EJA theme and then selected the complete works that included Paulo Freire in their references. The analyzes were built from the content investigation along the following axes: the first one investigated the characterization of the projects according to the region, institution of origin, themes and most cited authors, and the second one investigated the contributions of Paulo Freire. Studies on the characterization of the projects point to a higher percentage of publications in the southeastern region, mostly from public institutions, dealing with themes related to the teaching and learning of both young and adult audiences, in which Paulo Freire occupied the most referenced author position, contributing to foster debates on liberating education, banking education, the development of critical thinking and reflection on practice. These results show the current status of Paulo Freire for the EJA subject and its importance for Brazilian education, the basis for research and practice on EJA.
