Referenciação, Leitura e Sentidos no Exame de Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros: tiras em questão

Nesta dissertação, são examinadas, da perspectiva da referenciação, as tiras cômicas e sua relação com as questões propostas no exame oral do Certificado de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros (Celpe-Bras). A pesquisa justifica-se pela contribuição que pode trazer aos estudos do gênero tira no contexto do ensino e da aprendizagem de português para estrangeiros. Do ponto de vista teórico, fundamenta-se em estudos do texto, segundo a abordagem da Linguística Textual, principalmente no que se refere a tira cômica, referenciação, leitura e construção de sentidos, bem como multimodalidade. Para compor o corpus, foram analisadas as avaliações pertinentes à Parte Oral, aplicadas de 1998 a 2019, em que foi utilizado o gênero tira. Dentre o conjunto de textos coletados, foram selecionadas seis tiras cômicas. A análise das tiras deu-se em duas etapas: 1) descrição dos elementos que compõem a tira; 2) análise de estratégias de referenciação envolvidas na relação entre a leitura da tira cômica e as questões propostas no Roteiro de Interação Face a Face, conduzido pelo avaliador da prova oral. Os resultados indicam que, em relação à construção dos referentes nas questões da prova relacionadas às tiras cômicas, algumas questões propostas aos candidatos fazem referência direta às tiras em termos de elementos constitutivos do texto, outras questões fazem referência implícita à temática, exigindo que o candidato, para respondê-las, faça inferências e estabeleça relações com a própria vivência, o que requer a mobilização de conhecimentos pessoais e/ou culturais.
This dissertation examines, from the reference process perspective, the comic strips and their relationship with the questions proposed in the oral examination that takes place in the Certificado de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros (Celpe-Bras). The research is justified by the contribution it can bring to studies of the genre comic strip in the context of teaching and learning Portuguese language for foreigners. From the theoretical point of view, this investigation is based on textual studies, according to the Textual Linguistics approach, especially regarding the comic strip, referencing, reading and construction of meanings, as well as multimodality. In order to compose the corpus, were analyzed the examinations related to the Oral Part, applied from 1998 to 2019, in which the comic strip genre was used. From the set of collected texts, six comic strips were selected. The analysis of the strips took place in two steps: 1) description of the elements that make up the comic strip; 2) analysis of referencing strategies involved in the relationship between comic strip reading and the questions proposed in the Guia de Interação Face a Face, conducted by the evaluator of the oral exam. The results indicate that, in relation to the construction of referents in the test questions related to comic strips, some questions proposed to the candidates refer directly to the strips in terms of the constitutive elements of the text, other questions, in an implicit way, refer to the theme, requiring the candidate to answer them, make inferences and establish relationships with his own experience, which demands the mobilization of personal and / or cultural knowledge.
