This study aimed to compare the maximum number of repetitions performed during the resistance exercise with vascular occlusion associated with cooling strategy in hands on exercise Leg Press 45°. The study sample was composed of 6 male volunteers, with at least one year of experience in resistance training. The volunteers performed a total of two tests in the exercise of Leg Press 45° with vascular occlusion and without cooling, and vascular occlusion and cooling between sets, on different days. According to the data the average in the second and third series of exercise with and without vascular occlusion cooling was 10 and 4 replicates, respectively, while the average in the second and third series of exercise with vascular occlusion and cooling was 17 and 9 replicates. The result obtained in the study showed statistically that the exercise situation, the cooling technique did not help in improving the overall performance of repetitions between the last two series compared with exercise without cooling. We conclude that the strategy of cooling manual has not been effective in improving the overall performance of repetitions comparing the situation with the series of exercise without cooling
