This descriptive and observational study aimed to identify and describe the sociodemographic profile of patients treated at the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Service of Hospital São Paulo between July 1, 2020, and October 30, 2022. Using data collected on the REDCap platform, variables, such as gender, age group, ethnicity, education level, and origin of the patients were analyzed. The results showed that the majority of patients treated were men (60.1%), predominantly older adults (59.18%). In terms of ethnicity, most patients were white (66.34%), followed by mixedrace (17.47%) and black (14.66%). Regarding education level, the majority had incomplete primary education (33.69%), followed by complete secondary education (23.04%). Geographically, most patients were from the capital city of São Paulo (76.46%), with a smaller proportion coming from the greater São Paulo area (16.77%) and other regions. Therefore, understanding the sociodemographic profile of patients is crucial for developing more effective and personalized intervention strategies, aiming to increase treatment adherence and improve the quality of care provided.
