Mesmo com toda organização do treinamento físico com finalidade de obtenção de desempenho em diferentes modalidades esportivas, muitas vezes, o treinador bem como o atleta, procuram por estratégias que possam ampliar esse desempenho, culminando em agilidade, rapidez, resistência do atleta frente à realização de sua prova. Entre as estratégias consideradas como lícitas, o uso de suplementos nutricionais tem ganhado destaque. Alguns estudos indicam que as bebidas energéticas e aquelas à base de plantas (consideradas bebidas ergogênicas), prometem aumentar o desempenho físico por promover um aumento do estado de ânimo, diminuição da fadiga e melhora do bem-estar. Diante do exposto, foi avaliado o perfil de humor e respostas fisiológicas pela ingestão de bebidas ergogênicas, em exaustão voluntária máxima, realizada em esteira ergométrica. Para avaliação da resposta fisiológica, pressão arterial sistólica (PAS), pressão arterial diastólica (PAD) e temperatura corporal nas três seguintes fases: antes do teste, imediatamente após e trinta minutos após. Com esses dados, supõe-se avaliar as possíveis influências no desempenho do voluntário através da ingestão das bebidas. Foram administradas quatro bebidas, sendo assim um teste duplo cego: (Catuama®), energético (Red Bull®), arrebite e placebo. Para avaliar o humor, foi utilizada a escala de Humor de Brunel (BRUMS). Para mensurar a temperatura corporal, foi utilizado um termômetro digital e posicionado no lobo frontal do voluntário. Já para a pressão arterial, utilizou-se o esfigmomanômetro. A partir da observação dos dados, foi o teste ergoespirométrico realizado até a exaustão voluntária máxima nos diferentes grupos, onde, após análise de variância, não encontramos diferenças significativas entre os grupos nas variáveis estudadas. Assim, podemos dizer que as diferentes bebidas estimulantes utilizadas no estudo, não foram capazes de produzir mudanças significativas nos parâmetros respiratórios. Para avaliar o perfil de humor, como já mencionado anteriormente, foi utilizado o questionário de BRUMS. Com a finalidade de mensurar este parâmetro, foi aplicado o mesmo para o grupo que tomou a Bebida energética, arrebite, Catuama® e placebo.Tanto vigor, fadiga, confusão mental e DTH, não encontramos resultados significativos. Em relação à percepção subjetiva de esforço, analisou-se a pressão arterial sistólica e diastólica nos 4 grupos que são: bebida energética, arrebite, Catuama® e placebo, nas quais apresentaram aumentos na pressão arterial sistólica imediatamente após o exercício com retorno aos valores basais após 30’ da realização do mesmo. Para o comportamento da pressão arterial diastólica, no grupo bebida energética apresentou-se com um ligeira diminuição desta variável, voltando aos níveis basais 30 minutos pós teste. Para a bebida arrebite, houve este mesmo comportamento de diminuição desta variável, retornando aos valores basais no momento 30 minutos pós-teste. Nas outras variáveis não foram encontradas diferenças significativas. Para percepção subjetiva de esforço, mensurada com a escala de Borg, relacionando os limiares ventilatórios I e II, resultou-se que todas as condições experimentais apresentaram-se com o mesmo perfil de variação. Conclui-se que no presente estudo, houve poucas alterações significativas, servindo como proposta, para que haja mais estudos em relação às influências de diferentes bebidas estimulantes no humor e desempenho.
Even with all organization of physical training in order to obtain development in different sports, in situations, the coach such as the athlete, aim for strategies that can magnify this development towards agility, speed and a better resistance of the athlete to finish his task. Among the strategies: considered as licit, the usage of nutritional supplements has obtained some notability. Few studies indicate that energetic drinks and the ones plant-based (the ones considered ergogenic drinks), promises to increase the physical development by promoting an increase of the vitality, decreasing the fatigue and an improve of well-being, By this data, it was analysed the humour profile and physiological responses to the ingest of ergogenic drinks, in the state of volunteered maximum exhaustion accomplished in a ergometric track. In order to evaluate the physiological response it was measured in each volunteer systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and body temperature in the following phases: before test, right after test and thirty minutes after test. With this data it is supposed to be able to evaluate the possible influence of the ingestion of beverages in the volunteer performance. It was given four beverages, therefore, a double blind test (Catuama ®), an energetic drink (Red Bull®),energetic plant-based drink and placebo . To evaluate humour, it was used the Brunel scale of Humour (BRUMS). To evaluate body temperature, it was used a digital thermometer placed in the frontal lobe of the volunteers. For the arterial pressure, it was used a sphygmomanometer. From the data evaluation, an ergoespirometric test was made up to a volunteered maximum exhaustion in all the groups, and after a variance analysis, it was not found any meaningful differences between groups a , each with the individual variables under study. Therefore, we may infer that the different energy drinks used in this study were not able to project any significance in breathing patterns .To evaluate a humour profile, it was applied a BRUMS questionnaire to all three groups . In strength, fatigue, mental disorder and total humour disorder (THD) there were no meaningful findings. In their subjective perception of effort, it was analysed the arterial systolic and diastolic pressure in all four groups: energetic drink group, energetic plant-based drink, catuama and placebo, all groups presented an increase of systolic pressure right after the exercise with a decrease to normal values after thirty minutes. As for the diastolic pressure behaviour, in the energetic drink group, there was a slight decrease, return to the baselines at thirty minutes after the exercise. For energetic plant-based drink, there was this same behavior of this variable decreased, returning to baseline at 30 minutes post-time trial. In all other variables there were no meaningful findings. For the subjective perception of effort, measured in BORG scale, related to ventilator limits I and II, resulting that all the experimental conditions presented the same variable profile. It was concluded that in this study there were few significative alterations, serving as a proposal towards more studies related to the different influences of stimulant beverages in mood and development
