However, the study of these places still does not show the results of all the exploration and appropriation resulting from human presence. Among coastal ecosystems, beaches have economic importance with tourism, and offer environmental services such as a source of food for local residents and housing for various animals, both those that live in the water, such as fish, and those associated with sediment, such as polychaetes. and beach cookies. Beach cookies play a fundamental role in the ecology of beaches, from controlling algae populations to being important members of the food web in these environments. The present work aims to study the spatial distribution of these organisms, in addition to analyzing morphometric measurements, such as weight, length and width throughout the Santos Bay, taking as a reference the channels present in Santos. When analyzing the morphometric measurements of the 809 organisms found in two field trips, February and October, the average length went from 7.30±1.18 cm in February to 6.08±1.43 cm in October; as for width, in February the average went from 6.60±1.06 cm in February to 5.42±1.28 cm in October; Regarding weight, the organisms had an average of 19.57±8.59 g in February and 19.11±10.31 g in October. Furthermore, the density of organisms and fragments were also counted and analyzed and suggest a redistribution of them along the beaches.
