A falta
Teleworking emerged decades before the pandemic, but in 2020, with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, this way of working was implemented quickly and more widely. The lack of an environment dedicated to teleworking can promote ergonomic risks and thus a greater occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders. Objective: To understand the risks of RSI/WMSD in teleworking based on the perception of civil servants at a public university. Methods: A list of civil servants at a public university who were teleworking (partially or totally) was obtained, and subjects were selected for individual interviews, based on an elaborate script, which were recorded and transcribed for categorical thematic content analysis. Results: Eight civil servants took part in the interviews, most of them female, aged between 33 and 50, and from various professional categories. The interviews revealed ergonomic inadequacies, musculoskeletal symptoms, the use of individual prevention strategies, and the advantages of teleworking, among others. Conclusion: There are still ergonomic aspects of risk for RSI/WMSD, and despite the adaptations made throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there is still a need to meet the needs of prevention and knowledge management for workers.
