persiste a longo prazo.
The low back pain reach epidemic levels on the population in general, it’s becoming the second painful disturbance that most affect the men. That pain lead the person to reduce functional capacity, leading him to retire from is labouring activities. For patients with low back pain treatment, actually the back schools have been used. Generally the back school programs include educational aspects about basic anatomy and physiology of column, epidemiology and causer factors of the low back pain, beyond the information about how to reduce the intensity and frequencies of the low back pain with modification of the posture in the daily life, and the importance of the exercises to maintenance of the postural habits. However further is isn't known if the changing of the postural habits learnt persist for a long time. With that the present study main objective is to verify is the participants in a program of back school managed to maintain the acquired changing in the postural habits in their daily life in a long time and evaluate the functional capacity after these changes. The sample was composed for 11 individuals that participate on the back school program in UNIFESP in 2015 and 2016 that answered a questionnaire of habits postural changes and the functional capacity (Roland Morris). The study show that the majority of the participants that pass to the back school program in the years 2015 and 2016, achieved in a long time to maintain the postural habits though the learned orientations in the program and get pain relief, corporal posture and the quality of life beyond significative improvement on the functional capacity
