A abordagem do tema saúde nas aulas de Educação Física

Resumo
A saúde sempre ocupou, e ainda ocupa, um papel de destaque na Educação Física Escolar, porém, em muitos casos, a sua definição ocorre de maneira rasa e com certa limitação, o quê acaba por não acompanhar as mudanças na sociedade contemporânea e da própria disciplina enquanto componente curricular. O objetivo do estudo consiste em compreender a abordagem do tema saúde nas aulas de Educação Física do ensino fundamental. Trata-se de pesquisa exploratória de caráter qualitativo, onde foi realizada a análise documental do Projeto Político Pedagógico, buscando observar todo o conteúdo referente à saúde e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os professores de Educação Física, a coordenação pedagógica e direção escolar, bem como professores de outros componentes curriculares, tendo como critério de inclusão: serem profissionais efetivos da Rede Estadual de Educação há, no mínimo, um ano e atuarem na unidade escolar pesquisada há, no mínimo, um ano. Como critério de não inclusão, abstemos os profissionais que, durante a realização da pesquisa, fornecerem dados insuficientes para a análise dos dados. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida numa Escola da Rede Estadual de Educação de São Paulo, no município de Santos. A coleta de dados teve duração de 3 meses. Como resultado, a relação entre Educação Física e saúde pode ser categorizada em: atividade física, corpo, orientadora e combate ao sedentarismo. No que se refere à concepção de compreensão de saúde as respostas puderam ser categorizadas em: bem-estar, bons hábitos, ausência de doenças, corpo e mente. Já em relação aos conteúdos relacionados à saúde, a que a Educação Física aborda, tivemos as categorias: exercício físico, alimentação, doenças, cultura corporal do movimento, esporte, comportamento de risco, higiene e socialização. Por fim, no que tange ao como esses conhecimentos podem ser sistematizados foram obtidas as categorias: projetos, currículo oficial e interdisciplinar. Conclui-se que as aulas de EF possuem uma característica fomentadora de saúde, apresentado uma concepção restrita de saúde, considerável causalidade entre práticas corporais como geradora de saúde, não levando em consideração a dimensão social em que o aluno e a escola estão inseridos.
Health always had and still has a prominent role in Physical Education, but in so many cases its definition happens in a shallow way and with some limitation, which does not follow the changes in contemporary society and the Physical Education itself as a field of study. The objective of the study is to understand the approach of the health theme in the Physical Education classes of elementary school. This is a qualitative exploratory research, in which a documental analysis of the Pedagogical Political Project was performed, seeking to observe all the content related to health. Was performed as well, semi-structured interviews with teachers of Physical Education´s classes, pedagogical coordination and school direction, as well as teachers of other curricular components, having as inclusion criteria: to be effective professionals of the Public State Education Network for at least one year and be working in the school unit researched for at least one year. As a criterion of exclusion from the interviews analisys, were the professionals who during the research provided insufficient data for analisys. The research was developed at a Public State School of São Paulo, in the municipality of Santos. Data collection lasted 3 months. As a result, the connection between Physical Education and health can be categorized into: physical activity, body, guidance and combat sedentary lifestyle. Regarding the concept of health, the answers could be categorized as: well-being, good habits, absence of disease, body and mind. In relation to health-related contente in Physical Education have as results the following categories: physical exercise, diet, disease, body culture of movement, sport, risk behavior, hygiene and socialization. Finally, regarding how this knowledge can be systematized, the following categories were obtained: projects, official and interdisciplinary curriculum. It is concluded that the classes have a health promoting characteristic, presenting a restricted conception of health, considerable causality between body practices as a health generator, not considering the social dimension in which the student and the school are inserted.
