Resumo
Os efeitos do processo de escolarização ao qual os sujeitos são submetidos no modelo tradicional de educação influenciam de maneira expressiva na preparação para o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM). O objetivo central do trabalho é analisar como as concepções de fracasso escolar emergiram em estudantes advindos do ensino público durante a preparação para o ENEM, bem como compreender como se sentem diante do desafio de entrar na universidade e como relacionam sua trajetória escolar e condições de vida com essa preparação. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa cujos procedimentos de produção de dados empíricos foram entrevistas individuais com roteiro semiestruturado de questões. Os procedimentos foram realizados de forma virtual (via internet) com mulheres jovens e adultas que frequentam ou frequentaram o Cursinho Popular Cardume da Universidade Federal de São Paulo, campus Baixada Santista, nos anos de 2021 e 2022. A análise qualitativa desses dados lança luz sobre os efeitos subjetivos de processos precários de escolarização no contexto de preparação para o ingresso no ensino superior.
The side effects caused by the schooling process in which the students are submerged into the traditional education model has an expressive influence in the preparations for the Brazilian college acceptance exam called ENEM (National High School Exam). This research’s main goal is to analyze how the academic failure manifested among students coming from the Brazilian public scholar system while preparing for the ENEM, as well as comprehend how they felt against the challenges of performing well on the test in order to get a spot at an university and also how they relate their scholar trajectory and life conditions alongside the preparations for this Exam. For that, a qualitative research was made of which the empirical data production procedures were individual interviews based on a semi-structured questionnaire. The procedures were done virtually with women over the age of 18 who used to attend and others that are currently attending a popular preparatory course that provides classes for the ENEM, called “Cardume”, located at the Federal University of Sao Paulo Baixada Santista campus, during the years of 2021 and 2022. The qualitative analysis based on this data brings enlightenment over the particular effects caused by the precarious schooling process in the context of preparing students to get into a higher education institution.
