Resumo
O Observatório Institucional do Instituto do Mar foi criado com o intuito de
observar as relações de integração entre universidade e sociedade, identificando os
atores sociais que interagem com a Unidade Universitária e a natureza dessas
relações, analisando as repercussões socioespaciais da sua implantação e
consolidação no território. Ao desenvolver produtos que envolvem a memória do
Instituto e criar uma linha do tempo e um mapa, o Observatório pretende permitir que
a sociedade visualize como o Instituto do Mar (IMar) atua da região, bem como mostra
ao Instituto eventuais lacunas, locais onde o IMar ainda precisa e pode estar presente.
O presente trabalho resgata os resultados da primeira etapa de operação do
ObservaIMar, destacando as principais ações de ensino, pesquisa, extensão e
também dos estágios realizados pelos alunos do Instituto do Mar. Ao final são
analisadas com maior profundidade as ações de extensão, visto que a Extensão
Universitária é a esfera acadêmica de maior similaridade com o Observatório, as
interações universidade-sociedade.
The Institutional Observatory of the Institute of the Sea was created with the aim of observing the relations of integration between university and society, identifying the social actors that interact with the University Unit and the nature of these relations, analyzing the socio-spatial repercussions of its implementation and consolidation in the territory. By developing products that involve the memory of the Institute and creating a timeline and a map, the Observatory intends to allow society to visualize how the Institute of the Sea (IMar) operates in the region, as well as to show the Institute any gaps, places where IMar still needs and can be present. The present work rescues the results of the first stage of operation of ObservaIMar, highlighting the main actions of teaching, research, extension and also the internships carried out by the students of the Institute of the Sea. In the end, the extension actions are analyzed in greater depth, since the University Extension is the academic sphere with the greatest similarity to the Observatory, the university-society interactions.
