Resumo
A presente pesquisa propõe uma análise literária do livro Amora, de Natalia Borges Polesso, publicado em 2015 pela Editora Dublinense de Porto Alegre, pelo selo Não Editora. Vencedor do Prêmio Jabuti de Literatura na categoria contos e crônicas, o livro traz 33 contos divididos em duas partes: “Grandes e sumarentas” e “Pequenas e ácidas”. Em nosso procedimento de análise, consideramos o todo da obra como um projeto definido, ou livro arquitetural (Barthes, 2005), em que os contos formam um mosaico de narrativas sobre relações homoafetivas entre mulheres em seus aspectos afetivos, sexuais, sociais e existenciais. A análise conto a conto e transversal da obra ilumina as questões arquitetônicas do livro e, através do estudo do conjunto de personagens, dos enredos, dos espaços e dos recursos narrativos, aspira-se compreender o mosaico-livro considerando aspectos temáticos e formais da obra. Buscamos identificar questões como a heteronormatividade compulsória (e resistências a ela), manifestações plurais de existência lésbica (Rich, 2010), o posicionamento das personagens em relação ao armário (Sedgwick, 2003) e o incômodo sentido por quem o vive ou o presencia. Analisamos a polifonia na obra (Bakhtin, 2010) levando em conta o livro como um todo e as unidades semânticas formadas pelos contos, segundo a definição do gênero de Cortázar (1996) e Gotlib (2006). Com este aparato teórico, revelamos, então, que o livro Amora é um todo formado por partes conectadas pela reiteração da existência lésbica em cada uma de suas narrativas.
This research proposes a literary analysis of the book "Amora" by Natalia Borges Polesso, published in Portuguese in 2015 by "Editora Dublinense" of Porto Alegre, under the "Não Editora" label. Winner of the "Jabuti" Literature Prize in the short stories and chronicles category, the book features 33 short stories divided into two parts: "Big and juicy" and "Short and Tart." In our analysis, we will consider the whole work as a defined project or architectural book (Barthes, 2005), in which the short stories form a mosaic of narratives about same-sex relationships between women in their affective, sexual, social and existential aspects. The story-by-story and transversal analysis of the work intends to illuminate the book's architectural points and, through the study of the characters set, the plots, the spaces, and the narrative resources, we seek to understand the mosaic-book considering the thematic and formal aspects of constructions. We will seek to identify issues such as compulsory heteronormativity (and resistance to it), plural manifestations of lesbian existence (Rich, 2010), the positioning of the characters concerning the "closet" (Sedgwick, 2003), and the discomfort felt by those who live or witness it. We will analyze the polyphony in the text (Bakhtin, 2010), taking into account the book as a whole and the semantic units formed by the stories, according to the definition of the genre by Cortázar (1996) and Gotlib (2006). With this theoretical apparatus, we intend to reveal that the book "Amora" is a whole formed of parts connected by the reiteration of the lesbian existence in each of its narratives.
