Inserção e permanência de estudantes negro(a)s na Unifesp-BS: qual o olhar do curso de Serviço Social?

Abstract

Partindo da realidade social na qual estamos inseridos, a da sociabilidade burguesa pautada na exploração de um contingente social sobre outro, faz-se imprescindível a busca pela transformação da sociedade com o objetivo de se obter igualdade social e, consequentemente, racial. O presente trabalho buscará entender, através de um estudo bibliográfico e documental a respeito do acesso e permanência dos estudantes negros na Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Campus Baixada Santista, entendendo de que forma a herança histórica e cultural do negro em nossa sociedade repercute no acesso e permanência dessa minoria social na UNIFESP-BS e mais especificamente no curso de Serviço Social.

The present work will seek to understand, through a bibliographical and documental study regarding the access and permanence of black students at the Federal University of São Paulo, Campus Baixada Santista, understanding that form the historical and cultural heritage of black people in our society affects the access and permanence of this social minority at UNIFESP-BS and more specifically in the course of Social Work
