- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)O destino dos traços visíveis do passado: o problema da produção de conhecimento no diálogo crítico de Pierre Vilar com Louis Althusser(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-05-03) Souza, Geise Targa De [UNIFESP]; Alessio, Marcia Barbosa Mansor D [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)The present study seeks to (re)construct the critical dialogue of Pierre Vilar with Louis Althusser, between the years 1964 and 1973 in France. Both were intellectuals who gained international projection in the 1960s and defined themselves as Marxists, however, Vilar was a historian and Althusser a philosopher. The places of production of these two intellectuals impacted on the way they understood Marxism, as well as a "dispute" on the concept of raw material, where there was no common accord. The definition of this concept produced impacts on the conception of knowledge production for each one of the authors, marking two singular forms of appropriation of Marxism and two distinct defenses on how it was possible to produce knowledge. We present this dialogue of a theoretical nature, while recognizing that it is the product of a situation profoundly influenced by the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1956 and by May 1968 in France. Our research intends to be a contribution to the area of History of Historiography, as a study of the history of theoretically oriented history writing, with this, we establish that our objective refers to the discussion of concepts and theoretical or methodological formulations that were put by the two authors. In highlighting his position on this subject, of fundamental importance still today, we have recovered not only a very important period in the history of historiography, but also recognize the position of these two authors in the face of the problem of knowledge production and consequently of the definition of the raw material of this process.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Futebol, política e identidade nacional: uma análise das copas do mundo entre 1950 e 1958(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-05-17) Souza, Flavio Antonio De [UNIFESP]; Alessio, Marcia Barbosa Mansor D [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)This study analyzes the relationship between soccer and politics in Brazilian society. After its popularization in the first decades of the twentieth century, soccer in Brazil was consolidated, in the view of the sports press, as one of the best in the world. The disputes of the World Cups of 1950, 1954 and 1958 are part of the context of the “Era Vargas”, characterized by, among other things, a strong tension between the nationalist project advocated by the ruling group and the liberal project, idealized by opposition groups that often used the mass media as instruments to carry out the political struggle. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to identify the action of communication vehicles linked to political parties in the construction of the idea of "soccer country", as well as in the tensions and political, social, cultural and racial conflicts that permeated Brazilian society at the time.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)História e economia: Caio Prado Júnior (1929-1945)(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2019-05-13) Santos, Rodrigo Cesar De Araujo [UNIFESP]; Alessio, Marcia Barbosa Mansor D [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)In this work we analyze the ways in which Caio Prado Júnior historicizes the concepts of political economy and relates history and economy in his historiographical production, problematizing the dialogue and articulations between history and theory, between the reconstitution and the conceptualization of the past. We investigate, therefore, the mediations that the author establishes between the narration of events (territory of diachrony, indetermination and singularity) and the explanation of structures (territory of synchrony, determination and universality). We hypothesize that it is in the dynamic relation between conceptualization (generalization) and narrative (particularization) that we can find the way to comprehend Caiopradean thought in its totality. In this sense, we analyze Caio Prado Júnior’s work with special attention to the concepts of production and circulation present in his historiography. Considering that our research object is delimited as a particular aspect of the author's thought and that Caio Prado Júnior’s historiographical production is linked to the experiences he lived at the time of its elaboration, we understand these concepts of political economy as part of the broader framework of economic thought and the historiography of his time and seek to relate the author's biography to his historical narrative. Thus, we intend to contribute to deepen the knowledge about the theory of history mobilized by the author, the mediations he made between the temporalities of history and the tensions between history and theory in his historiographical work.
