Assim como na vida de um humano, existem diversos fatores inerentes à vida de um animal que podem trazer futuras complicações. Dentro deste risco, é criado um produto voltado para garantir a saúde e o bem-estar de animais domésticos. Este trabalho visa estudar os fatores inerentes à subscrição desta linha de negócio que vem sendo comercializada nacionalmente de forma relativamente recente, tendo determinados pormenores ainda a serem discutidos, analisados e explorados, bem como avaliar a aceitação populacional ao seguro.
Just as in a human’s life, there are many different factors inherent to an animal’s life which might bring health complications in the future. Considering such risk, an insurance product aiming at the wellness of pets has been created. This academic work aims to study the many factors inherent to the underwriting of this line of business, which started its’ development in Brazil fairly recently, having some particular aspects yet to be discussed, analysed and explored, as well as to analyse the insurance acceptance by the population.
