Introduction: One of the most prevalent types of tissue injury in children is pressure ulcers. To contribute with the prevention of pressure injuries in pediatrics, it is crucial to develop an application that enables the use of the Braden QD scale. Objective: To develop an application for the Braden QD scale to assess the risk of pressure injuries in children. Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study for the development of na application. For its elaboration, the Design Thinking method was used. In the definig phase, through the Desk search, an exploration for prior art and a bibliographic survey was conducted, with no similar applications being found. In the ideating phase, the elaboration, selection, and organization of the content was performed. In the prototype phase, the application was structured, the content was created, images were selected, and they were validated through the Delphi method, using a questionnaire to analyze the Content Validity Index. In the implementing phase, the free availability of the application for download and dissemination was made available. Results: The application was validated in the first round, with an overall CVI of 0.96. It was named “DERMAPED”, and it provides the Braden QD scale to the health professional aiming at optimizing the risk assessment of pressure injury in the pediatric population. Conclusion: The “DERMAPED” application was developed to use the Braden QD scale to assess the risk of pressure injuries in children.
