A fase definir identificou e planejou o conteúdo do protocolo.
Introduction: Obesity can cause physical, psychological and social consequences. Bariatric surgery can improve the patient's biopsychosocial condition. However, excess skin postweight loss can cause psychological distress. Plastic surgery, being the only procedure capable of removing excess skin, can improve selfimage, thus encouraging a healthier relationship with oneself and others. Objective: Develop and validate a biopsychosocial care protocol in postbariatric plastic surgery. Method: This study covered two stages, Design Thinking with the phases: discover, define, develop and deliver. Discover phase, a previous search, bibliographic survey, questionnaire and brainstorming were carried out with the experts participating in the research. The define phase identified and planned the content of the protocol. In the develop phase, the protocol was written and from that the Web App version protocol was built. The Delphi Method stage consisted of evaluating the content of the protocol. Validation was carried out using the Content Validity Index (CVI) to calculate the degree of agreement of the experts' responses. Deliver Phase, the protocol was presented in PDF and Web App. Results: The previous search did not find a protocol related to mental health and postbariatric plastic surgery. The bibliographic survey included 48 articles that addressed the relationship between psychological aspects and postbariatric plastic surgery. The content of the protocol evaluated by experts was validated and reached 0.91 from IVC Global. Conclusion: The content of the biopsychosocial care protocol in postbariatric plastic surgery was developed and validated.
