| dc.description.abstract | Carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae may exhibit in vitro susceptibility to carbapenems, especially those producing weak carbapenemases. Routine clinical laboratories have employed phenotypic tests for screening such isolates. BKC-1 is a recently reported carbapenemase that shows weak carbapenemase activity.
