    Esboço para uma história de animação brasileira

    The objective of this project is to present a sketch of the history of Brazilian animated cinema. Based on the research of all available material on animated production in Brazil we will not develop a narrative that favors animators, styles or definite eras. Rather ands based on the methodology of authors who criticize historicist writing, we will discuss its production and settings, consider the authors, their techniques and aesthetics, their production conditions, the legislation, the existing studios, financing ways, etc. Based on this we want to draw a panorama that includes art works and commercial films, studios and animators, production and financial difficulties, the lack of public policies and the successes achieved in order to understand both the production conditions of Brazilian animations as the results.
