- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)A dimensão da ética na pesquisa em saúde com ênfase na abordagem qualitativa(Faculdade de Saúde Pública, Universidade de São Paulo.Associação Paulista de Saúde Pública., 2012-03-01) Castro-Silva, Carlos Roberto de [UNIFESP]; Mendes, Rosilda [UNIFESP]; Nakamura, Eunice [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)This article addresses the ethical dimension in health research, relating it more specifically to the qualitative approach, based on contributions of the social sciences and ethnography in particular, as it presupposes building a relationship of trust and respect between researchers and researched subjects that is gradually configured. The ethical aspects permeate qualitative research from the choice of the subject matter, the methodological outlines, analysis of the results, to the commitment of providing a feedback for the researched subjects regarding the obtained information. The ethical aspects presuppose the value of an interpersonal relationship in which the different interests, values and worldviews stand as a possibility or not of a joint construction of knowledge. The choice of a subject or object of study is related to a particular life trajectory in which the researcher should ask himself, at all times, how to conciliate the constitution of an ethical attitude in relation to the researched subjects with his own desires, dreams, curiosities and expectations. The article aims to discuss such dilemmas experienced by the researcher, highlighting the importance of ethics for his personal, professional and socio-political growth, and emphasizing the desire for knowledge autonomy, solidarity with social groups and with people involved in the research. Based on the report of a research process, the article intends to contribute to the understanding of how ethical aspects are inextricably linked to research, and also to the researcher, bringing elements to the conduction of qualitative research especially in public health.
This paper aims to promote reflections on the movement to institutionalize health practices evaluation: can it lead to the intended changes or may it reproduce old practices? To answer these questions, it was necessary to resort to the aid of Human Sciences mainly the authors who study social institutions. These authors based their theories on Positivistic sociology, on sociological phenomenology and on the precepts of the French institutionalism movement. Following their lines of thought, this paper is intended to further understand the concept of institution and institutionalization present in those social schools. Based on the theoretical framework which encourages this text, the authors suggest some special attention be placed on actions that support the movement for health evaluation institutionalization.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Imagens da burguesia: percursos sociológicos em três filmes europeus dos anos 1960(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2020-12-11) Rego, Pedro Miguel Camargo Da Cunha [UNIFESP]; Rovai, Mauro Luiz [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São PauloThis dissertation considers, from a sociological point of view, some cinematographic works commonly known for having represented the “bourgeois” life. The selected titles are: The servant (United Kingdom, 1963), Belle de jour (France, 1967) and Teorema (Italy, 1968). Methodologically, we are concerned with the analysis of the modes of construction of each of these films. This way, we seek to verify how social relations are staged in them, in addition to considering some of the aesthetic elements that also constitute them.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)A infância pesquisada(Instituto de Psicologia da Universidade de São Paulo, 2009-09-01) Müller, Fernanda [UNIFESP]; Hassen, Maria De Nazareth Agra [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)This paper presents guidelines of the research on childhood in several fields of knowledge and particularly in the social sciences, highlighting how children come to be conceived as social actors and as culture and meaning producers. It is argued that childhood requires interdisciplinary work and flexible research processes, and that the contemporary complexity begs for a rupture of child-adult dichotomies originated in the Modern Age. Though some interdisciplinary studies are already available, the recognition of childhood as a hybrid phenomenon, both biological and social, implies that understanding childhood requires further integration of natural and social sciences research efforts.
