Para isso, foi realizada uma análise dos pedidos de patentes fracionadas depositadas pelos municípios que compõe essa microrregião e, posteriormente, foi calculado o indicador de vantagem tecnológica revelada (VTR) para cada campo técnico das patentes depositadas e comparados os resultados aos mesmos índices em níveis estadual e nacional. Os resultados mostram que a microrregião de São José dos Campos possui uma especialização tecnológica para a área de transportes com o crescente número de pedidos de patentes nesse campo técnico, impulsionado pela indústria aeroespacial. Além disso, a região destaca-se por uma taxa de patentes de propriedade intelectual superior as médias comparativas do estado e da federação.

Research financing agencies are important institutions so that studies can be developed and published. The most important research financing agencies that are discussed in this article are: Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) and Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). CAPES' activities can be grouped in four different strategy lines: a) it evaluates the stricto sensu, at the post-graduation level; b) it provides access and development of scientific research; c) it provides investment on the development of high qualified human resources in Brazil and abroad, and d) it promotes international scientific cooperation. Although CAPES does not support directly scientific publications, almost all actions of this agency contribute to the development of scientific research and publication. CNPq has two main purposes: financing researches and development of human resources. It provides the researchers with financial aid to scientific publication. The grants for editing were specifically created for supporting the national scientific and technical publications edited by Brazilians institutions or societies. CNPq can also support Congresses, Symposiums and similar short-term courses. The Plataforma Lattes is also a branch of CNPq on which the Curriculum Lattes is available. This site has the curriculum vitae of the scientific community and is of great value for researchers. FAPESP also finances journal publications, articles and books that bring up original results of studies made by researchers from the state of São Paulo. It finances, partially, the travel expenses of innovative papers authors in meetings within the country or abroad. Brazilian authors are increasing the number of international publications. Universities, research institutes, financing agencies and private companies are more and more concerned with knowledge property. Researchers must understand the need of knowledge property and the financing agencies have to consider the patents achieved as a criteria of evaluation of scientific production.

Open Wedge High Tibial Osteotomies Present Lower Complication Rates And Greater Technical Ease. There Are Several Options Of Grafts And Fixation Methods Available. The Gold Standard Remains Autogenous Bone Graft, However The Morbidity Of The Donor Site Still Lead To Patient Complains. Objective: To Create A Device To Remove Bone From The Same Surgical Site, Using The Graft To Fill The Wedge Space. Methods: Review Of Existing Patents In The Main National (Inpi) And International Databases (Epo, Uspto, Espacenet, Wipo, Google Patent Search And Jpo) Was Done. Models For Validation Of The Concept, Application And Functionality Of The Device Were Developed With The Use Of Design Thinking. Objective: to develop a tool of questions and answers about patents in medical devices. Method: The Design Thinking methodology, divided into four stages 1- Discover: a Desk research was performed in the following databases Scielo, Pubmed, LILACS, and in Google and Google Scholar search engines. Once elected the target audience, interviews were conducted; 2- Define: difficulties of the interviewees were mapped on Excel; 3- Develop: a brainstorm was done with the interviewed public, and 4- Deliver: prototyping, validation and elaboration of the final tool for delivery were done. Results: 1- Discover: Ten inventors were identified and interviewed; 2- Define: 80% of the interviewees indicated the lack of information as one of the issues. The main content was defined as: the patent process from idea to the deposit (70%), the search for precedence (40%), and communicating partners (30%); 3- Develop: with the brainstorming, the tool was defined as an interactive website; 4- Deliver: a prototype with content skeleton and interactive video was developed and presented for validation. After approval, the interactive website was developed. The interactive website was made available to the public by application. Conclusion: A questions and answers tool about patents for medical devices.

A mapping of the innovative processes in the region is carried out together with its distribution among the participating municipalities and their respective technological specializations, it was also possible to outline the temporal evolution of patenting in the cities of the region.

The Procedure To Obtain Grafts Increases Local Comorbidity And Surgery Duration. Therefore, It Is Necessary To Rationalize And Optimize The Use Of Graft By Creating A Proper Surgical Plan And Dexterity To Use It. The Tools Used To Shape The Cartilaginous Grafts Are Currently Rudimental And Do Not Provide Precise Cuts. Aim: Developing Tweezers To Help The Process Of Precise Cuts Of Cartilaginous Grafts. Methods: Searching For Other Studies In Databanks Such As Uspto, Espacenet, Wipo, And Google Patent Search. To Develop The Tool, We Designed Surgical Forceps That Helps Gripping, Measuring And Cutting The Cartilage. O desafio é dimensionar de forma mais objetiva como o transbordamento do conhecimento se concretiza. As patentes podem proporcionar uma análise quantitativa do transbordamento do conhecimento, pois oferecem informações como: nome do inventor, data, classificação, patentes citadas e citação de patentes. Entender a dinâmica do processo de transbordamento tecnológico, o dimensionamento do conhecimento tecnológico difundido é importante para fomentar políticas tecnológicas. A partir das patentes das universidades federais do Estado de São Paulo, a pesquisa cumpre os seguintes objetivos: a) Aplicar método de análise multivariada para verificar o transbordamento de conhecimento; b) Aplicar o método para criação de índice de transbordamento. Através de uma análise multivariada, foi verificado quais as variáveis têm maior impacto sobre o transbordamento do conhecimento e possibilitando o a criação de um índice de transbordamento.
