    Um porco na Pinacoteca: a trajetória da obra O Porco, de Nelson Leirner, de 1967 a 2017

    The subject of this monograph is the process of institutionalization of the work O porco [The Pig], created by the artist Nelson Leirner (São Paulo, 1932). This research presents an analysis on the history of this work of art, from its first public exhibition in the IV Salão de Arte Moderna do Distrito Federal in 1967, considering its critical reception in 1967 and 1968, and the incorporation of this work in the collection of Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo in 1979. The intent of this research is to understand how the two agents, art criticism and the museum, dialogue with each other, and how the institutions establish histories of a work of art through exhibitions.
