The Advance Of Molecular Biology Allowed The Isolation And Sequencing Of Ancient Dna From Fossils. It Has Been Shown That There Was Interbreeding Between Neanderthals And Ancient Homo Sapiens Sapiens Lineages. Because Of This Interaction, 1 To 3% Of Modern Humans Genome Is Inherited From Neanderthals, Nevertheless The Influence Of This Interaction On Human Traits Is Unknown. We Analyzed 102 Sequences Of Mitochondrial Dna From Current And Archaic Homo Sapiens Sapiens And Neandertals. Neandertal Variants (66) Were Found Along The Mitogenome Of Present Humans That Are Not Present In Sequences Of Ancient Anatomically Modern Humans, Suggesting Gene Flow Between Neanderthals And Ancient Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Principal Component Analysis Showed That Some Positions Founded In Anatomically Modern Humans Mtdna Are More Related To Variants Founded In The Neanderthals Mtdna. Seven Neanderthal Variants Founded Throughout The Modern Humans Mitogenome
