Objectives: Analyzing conception which health-services professionals, teachers and students have over interpersonal relations in a scope of curricular activities developed in health services; identifying agreement spaces between Higher Education Institution (IES) and Municipal Health Office (SMS). Methods: Exploratory, descriptive study which has documental analysis and qualitative-quantitative approach. It has been developed on the Basic Health Units (UBS) which is associated with Health Sciences State University of Alagoas (UNCISAL). It has included: Documental Analysis, Interview and Likert Scale. The analyzed data were: National Curricular Guidelines from referred courses, public note for curricular-changing incentive programs, agreement of referred IES’s and Secretary of Health, and IES courses’ pedagogical projects. Interviews were performed with managers from both Health Units which received UNCISAL students; The Likert Instrument, after validated its content, dispersion and reliability, was applied to a 72-subjects sample, including managers, professionals, teachers and students from the Institution’s health courses. Results: The documental analysis pointed that the development of activities in health services by graduation students is present, in a relevant way, in all documents. It has been verified also that are expected and demanded juridical and legal instruments so education and health services institutions define together these actions, highlighting that all the curricular- changing incentive programs were defined by Interministerial Ordinance. It has been seen that, in daily practical activities, this articulation is insufficient, even though the managers recognize the contributive factors of Education - Service integration in professional training. The interviews revealed the need for greater flexibility to host the IES students. The lack of interaction between the IES and the service, as well as an inadequate pattern in the interpersonal relations between them, was evidenced and reiterated by the Likert Attitudinal Instrument added to the subjects' perception of the lack of practice scenarios and poor distribution in the three levels of attention. Conclusions: Official Documents point to the importance of education activities development in the services and the necessary integration between IES and health services to professional training. Attitudes and compromises between the actors which belong to IES and health services allow effectiveness of Education – Service integration.

- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Estudo longitudinal da atenção compartilhada em crianças autistas não-verbais(CEFAC Saúde e Educação, 2009-12-01) Farah, Leila Sandra Damião [UNIFESP]; Perissinoto, Jacy [UNIFESP]; Chiari, Brasilia Maria [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)PURPOSE: to identify and characterize abilities of Joint Attention of non-verbal autistic children through the observation of communicative behaviors. METHODS: the research involved 5 boys, between 5,9 and 8,6-year old, diagnosed as Autistic Disorder (DSM IV, 2002), recorded in two instances with a four months interval. Meanwhile, the children were submitted to a language therapy mediation based on Joint Attention stimulation. Each recording was 15 minutes long and involved one child or group of 2-3 children with the therapist within non-directed and semi-directed interaction situations, at school where they studied. We observed and registered behaviors regarding Joint Attention abilities. The used material involved percussion instruments. Data were analyzed in relation to time, interaction and interlocutor. RESULTS: the gaze behavior showed the greatest growth in each subject. Data analysis revealed that the subjects showed qualitative trends for evolution of the Joint Attention ability revealing important clinical meaning although there was lack of statistical significance. Each subject showed characteristics and evolution of the communicative behaviors regarding Joint Attention in an individualized manner. After the period of language therapy intervention, we observed a quantitative behavioral growth in the 5 subjects, specifically under child-therapist interaction. CONCLUSIONS: the gaze behavior is an important step for the development of others behaviors toward Joint Attention. The adult-child interaction situation facilitates the appearance of communication behaviors and sharing. Language therapy with focus on the Joint Attention abilities seems to contribute positively for communication development of autistic children.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Intervenção religiosa na recuperação de dependentes de drogas(Faculdade de Saúde Pública da Universidade de São Paulo, 2008-04-01) Sanchez, Zila van der Meer [UNIFESP]; Nappo, Solange Aparecida [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)OBJECTIVE: To analyze the role of emerging religious interventions in the recovery from drug addiction. METHODOLOGICAL PROCEDURES: An exploratory qualitative study carried out in the city of São Paulo, Southeastern Brazil, in 2004 and 2005. In-depth interviews were held with 85 former drug users who had turned to non-medical religious resources for the treatment of their drug addiction and who were free from drugs for at least six months. The religious groups included in the analysis were Catholics, Evangelicals and Spiritualists. The interviews contained questions relating to sociodemographic data, the religiosity of the interviewee, his or her history of drug consumption, medical treatment for drug addiction, religious treatment and prevention of drug consumption through religion. ANALYSIS OF RESULTS: There were differences between the religious groups in the way that the drug addict was supported. The group that most used religion as an exclusive form of treatment was the Evangelicals, who rejected the intervention of a doctor andr any kind of pharmacological treatment. The Spiritualists most turned to therapeutic support for alcohol dependence, as well as conventional treatment, on account of their greater purchasing power. Catholics generally relied exclusively on religious therapy, but were less likely to reject the possibility of medical treatment. The importance given to prayer as an anxiolytic method was common in the three treatments. Confessions and pardons - in the forms of (faith) conversions and penitence for Evangelicals and Catholics respectively - served to help to rebuild people's lives and restore their self-esteem. CONCLUSIONS: According to the interviewees, what helped them to maintain their abstinence from drugs was more than just religious faith. Other factors included the support, positive pressure and welcoming offered by the group, and the offer to rebuild their lives with the unconditional support of religious leaders.
