Utility Poles Are Shared Among Diverse Companies. As A Result, They Are Also Subject To Constant Modifications And Damages Caused By Adverse Conditions. Thus, This Dissertation Introduces An Automated System For Detecting And Monitoring Utility Poles That Is Capable Of Processing Images And Data Of Sensors Captured On The Streets. This System Makes Use Of A Low-Cost Gadget Attached To A Car Roof To Capture Geo-Referenced Videos Of Poles As Well As Distance Data Gathered By Lidar Sensors. To Detect Poles In Videos, The Methodology Presented In This Dissertation Introduces An Image Processing Pipeline Capable Of Identifying The Lines That Compose The Poles. Distance Data Is Used To Enhance Video Frame Sampling, Reducing Computational Time. Finally, Deep Feature Clustering And Majorit
