Methodintegrative literature review conducted by means of search for articles in the databases Latin American Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), International Literature on Health Sciences (MedLine), and Science Direct, using the descriptors: health communication or communication. A crossing of the descriptors communication and health education was provided. Resultfour themes were constructed: 1) communication to establish relationships between health professionals and users; 2) (in)communication: barriers to the communicative act, 3) communication and health professional education; and 4) communicative health models: search for the dialogic model. Conclusionby understanding dialogic communication, which must be observed in communication, the new requirements posed by the legalization of SUS have shown weaknesses of the single-line and vertical communication model and the need to provide health professionals, since the undergraduate course, with knowledge that enable dialogic communication practices. The challenge of reflective and participatory experiences in the various health care settings still remains, in order to promote a sharing of knowledge that leads to understanding between the interlocutors involved in the communicative act.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)E-book educativo para pacientes candidatos a procedimentos minimamente invasivos na face(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2021) Menezes, Caio Cezar Oliveira [UNIFESP]; Aloise, Antonio Carlos [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São PauloIntroduction: There is an increasing search for minimally invasive procedures on the face. Influenced by digital media, patients see the procedures as banal, seek untrained professionals, and health literacy is essential. Education and the transmission of knowledge is an important strategy in the health area, and the breaking down of knowledge barriers is a tool for social inclusion and improvement of public health. The proven importance of digital media (internet, cell phones and others) in the effectiveness of the transmission of information and knowledge occupies a prominent place in the 21st century, being a comprehensive instrument capable of reaching a large portion of the population quickly and free of charge. Objective: An educational e-book was developed for patients who are candidates for minimally invasive procedures on the face. Method: For the development of the e-book, the “Design Thinking” method was used, divided into four phases (Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver). The content and e-book validation was carried out using the Delphi methodology through the consensus of experts. Result: An educational e-book was developed for patients who are candidates for minimally invasive procedures on the face. Conclusion: An effective means of educating the patient about minimally invasive procedures was made possible with this e-book.
