    Elaboração de manual sobre registro de patentes e autoria do Departamento de Oftalmologia e Ciências Visuais da Unifesp

    Objective: To develop a guide about patent registration and authorship of the Departamento de Oftalmologia e Ciências Visuais da Universidade Federal de São Paulo – Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP-EPM). Methods: It was developed at the Departamento de Oftalmologia e Ciências Visuais da UNIFESP-EPM from 03/01/2018 to 12/31/2019 and it was approved by the Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CEP nº 5180061117). A previous search was carried out on Google®, Google Acadêmico®, INPI and brazillian federal universities using the following terms: “manual de registro de patentes” and “Universidades Federais”. The guides and booklets available on the INPI website were used as an example guide in the development of the guide for registering patents and authorship. The brazillian federal universities were checked and if they had their own guide or booklet too. Results: Based on the research carried out, the existing legislation and the guides and booklets found in these universities were used to compose the patent registration and authorship guide, in addition, it was observed that of the 69 brazillian federal universities found only 11 (16 %) had their own guide or booklet which when distributed in the southeast, northeast, south, midwest, and north regions they represented 6%, 6%, 3%, 1% and 0%, respectively. Conclusion: A guide about the registration of patents and authorship of the of the Departamento de Oftalmologia e Ciências Visuais da UNIFESP-EPM was developed.

    Introduction: Burn is a serious trauma, with several repercussions, in the social, economic and public health spheres. The treatment of this patient is quite complex, and it has always been a great challenge for the health team worldwide, both due to the complexity of injuries and the need for intensive and multidisciplinary care, involving the most diverse health professionals. Objective: To develop a manual of burns and dressings for non-specialist professionals. Methods: This is a descriptive study on the development and validation of a manual, carried out in two phases. In the first stage, the search for priority and bibliographic survey was carried out. In the second stage, the development of the Manual (textual elaboration and diagramming). Results: The “Manual of burns and dressings for non-specialist professionals”, composed of 21 pages and 4 chapters, available in the online version, was prepared and diagrammed. Conclusion: The “Manual of burns and dressings for non-specialist professionals” was developed.
