    The passage of 19thto 20thcentury was marked by innumerous scientific discoveries and technical innovations such as the car, the photographic camera, the electricity, among others, mainly after the II Scientific-Technological Revolution in the mid-1850 in England, and also, it influenced many changes in other countries. In Brazil, the centuries transition, also, was a moment of republican regime consolidation, which sought to modernize itself to attract foreign investments and to disrupt with the imperial period. This monograph aims to understand how these technological innovations changed people’s quotidian in Rio de Janeiro through Fon-Fon! magazine caricatures (1908-1910).
