    Introduction: the treatment of large and mediumsized wounds is a challenge for surgeons when they need to close them and typically uses surgical techniques of grafting or flaps that make sequelas and even mutilations. Over time developed technique of "elastic suture" which promotes scarring in short time with minor sequelae, however the procedure has been performed with improvised material. Objective: Develop anelastic surgical line for suture that can be sterilized and prepared like the lines of medical surgical products. Method: review of existing patents through prior search and comparison with the device of the study. Materials research with the necessary features such as elasticity and tension. Test of these characteristics in specialized laboratories. Results: the developed product is an elastic wire sutures with double needle by silicone material that introduces elasticity and resilience the tension consistent. Conclusion: the elastic line with double needle for medial and big wounds was developed.
