    This Work Aims To Study The Influence Of Three Different Types Of Surface Treatment On Sisal Fibers When Used As Reinforcement In Sbr Elastomeric Composites ((Poly (Styrene-Co-Butadiene) Random Copolymer) . The Treatments Of Washing The Fibers With Water, Alkaline Treatment (Mercerization) And Silanization Of The Sisal Fibers Were Applied. Composites Were Produced Containing 5 Wt % Fibers. Composites And The Elastomer Composition Were Obtained Using An Internal Mixer (Banbury), Compaction And Shaping Of The Blankets Using A Rubber Mixing Mill And Vulcanization Using An Automated Press. The Evaluation And Characterization Of The Effects Of The Treatments Were Carried By Scanning Electron Microscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Thermogravimetry Analysis, X-Ray Diffraction And Infrared Spectroscopy To Verify The Efficiency And Changes Caused By Different Treatments.
