The course was held at the Department of Adolescent Medicine of UNIFESP and included 10% of the pediatricians working in the São Paulo municipal health system, with theoretical and practical activities, technical visits, intervention/case supervision, and support for updates in the most relevant health conditions in this age bracket. The pediatricians were tested before and after the course with multiple-choice questions and with a open-ended questionairy. Of the 120 pediatricians enrolled, 85 completed the course, 73 (85.8%) of whom were women. They had been working as pediatricians for an average of 18 years. Perceived themselves as more capable of providing better health care, working in multi-professional teams, developing educational activities, diagnosing diseases and risk situations, preventing diseases, discussing cases and strategies with other professionals, and multiplying knowledge. The results suggest that the training model is suitable for providing operational education to professionals already in the job market, althougn requires continuous acquisition of new knowledge and the refinement of previously acquired knowledge.
- ItemSomente MetadadadosCartilha sobre bolsas e adjuvantes para pessoas com estomas de eliminação intestinal(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2021) Hanate, Cintia [UNIFESP]; Blanes, Leila [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São PauloIntroduction: Elimination stomas are surgical procedures that consist in the exteriorization of part of the digestive and urinary system, creating an opening for the elimination of feces, gases and urine to the external environment. To contain the effluent it is necessary to use bags and adjuvants. Objective: To develop a booklet on bags and adjuvants for people with intestinal elimination stomas. Methods: Descriptive, methodological study for the construction of a booklet aimed at health professionals. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP. Search for educational material with the same purpose on Google® and the Brazilian Society of Stomatherapy (SOBEST) websites to verify the originality of this study. We did not find material that presented only information about the devices for people with intestinal elimination stoma (bags and adjuvants). For the construction of the booklet, a bibliographic survey was carried out and articles that had as content themes related to devices such as bags and adjuvants for people with intestinal elimination stomas, health education and development of educational material such as booklets were included. The text was prepared and images included. Results: The booklet has 26 pages with text and illustrative images, developed to meet the needs of health professionals who work with patients with intestinal elimination stoma. Simple language was used so that the understanding of the subject could be reached, with relevant information on the subject. Contains photos that illustrate the topics and facilitate the recognition of types of stomata bags and adjuvants. Conclusion: A booklet on bags and adjuvants for people with intestinal elimination stomas was developed.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Educação permanente em saúde: metassíntese(Faculdade de Saúde Pública da Universidade de São Paulo, 2014-02-01) Miccas, Fernanda Luppino; Batista, Sylvia Helena Souza da Silva [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP)OBJECTIVE : To undertake a meta-synthesis of the literature on the main concepts and practices related to permanent education in health. METHODS : A bibliographical search was conducted for original articles in the PubMed, Web of Science, LILACS, IBECS and SciELO databases, using the following search terms: “public health professional education”, “permanent education”, “continuing education”, “permanent education health”. Of the 590 articles identified, after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 48 were selected for further analysis, grouped according to the criteria of key elements, and then underwent meta-synthesis. RESULTS : The 48 original publications were classified according to four thematic units of key elements: 1) concepts, 2) strategies and difficulties, 3) public policies and 4) educational institutions. Three main conceptions of permanent education in health were found: problem-focused and team work, directly related to continuing education and education that takes place throughout life. The main strategies for executing permanent education in health are discussion, maintaining an open space for permanent education , and permanent education clusters. The most limiting factor is mainly related to directly or indirect management. Another highlight is the requirement for implementation and maintenance of public policies, and the availability of financial and human resources. The educational institutions need to combine education and service aiming to form critical-reflexive graduates. CONCLUSIONS : The coordination between health and education is based as much on the actions of health services as on management and educational institutions. Thus, it becomes a challenge to implement the teaching-learning processes that are supported by critical-reflexive actions. It is necessary to carry out proposals for permanent education in health involving the participation of health professionals, teachers and educational institutions.
- ItemAcesso aberto (Open Access)Estudo da Trajetória Navegacional do Médico com interesse em Diagnóstico por Imagem em Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem no Contexto da Educação Continuada(Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), 2020-09-14) Albanez, Maria De Fatima Bazoni [UNIFESP]; Tarcia, Rita Maria Lino [UNIFESP]; Universidade Federal de São PauloThis study describes the medical student's navigational trajectory by mining secondary data recorded in the virtual learning environment. The research, on whose data he relies, had an exploratory, descriptive character, with a quantitative approach and involved the understanding of the student's navigation in a set of virtual learning objects, which made it possible to interpret the quantitative data collected through the analysis of the data log records generated by the educational technological system. This research was carried out on Cetrus Diagnósticos, Ltda, using the information stored in the database of students enrolled in self-instructional distance learning courses, on the topic Diagnostic Imaging and who used the virtual learning environment AVA to carry out their studies. The study included all students who accessed the virtual learning environment; and those who did not have access were excluded. Data collection was performed in the AVA - Moodle, based on the records that generated access report data, which allowed to view each of the course activities and the number of times that this activity was accessed. The data analysis process took place by mining the selected data from the fields of interest and generating the infographics, using the statistical package SPSS - Statistical Package and the spreadsheet software MS-OFFICE Excell®. With support in the planned records, it was possible to obtain statistics from the student's navigational data that allowed to map the choices that the student made during his studies. By knowing how this process occurred, through the analysis of students' navigational behavior, it was possible to unveil a scenario that contributed to the pedagogical designs of the courses, favoring learning and communication, and, in alignment with the interest and motivation of the student. Student, also compete to guide decisions about investments in the production of teaching materials, identify risks and characteristics that indicate the possibility of dropping out, failing or dropping out and to understand digital learning, which is characteristic of contemporary times.
