    During the 90s, the northeastern presence in São Paulo had several dimensions. Time migratory reflux (Northeast and Southeast); moment of political clashes, unemployment and increasing prejudice. Luiza Erundina took office the country's largest city under constant attacks on his person and origin. In return, we have this period, the proliferation of specific cultural spaces in the northeast region is exalted: the linings and the means of mass communication, radio, TV and the Centers Traditions. This monograph examined how the Center Northeastern Traditions (CTN) was constituted as an identity space within the metropolis between 1990 and 2000. Reflection on CTN contributed to the understanding of its importance in relation to sociability of many Northeastern present in the city of São Paulo. In that space the northeastern culture was re-signified in the very center of the trajectory and recollected in this collection in your file.
