dc.description.abstract | CYCLIC PEPTIDES ARE PRIVILEGED STRUCTURES IN MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY, HOWEVER, THEIR SOLUTION-STATE STRUCTURE CHARACTERIZATION IS DIFFICULT. VIBRATIONAL CIRCULAR DICHROISM (VCD) SPECTROSCOPY IS A POWERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO NMR, BUT REQUIRES CHALLENGING CALCULATIONS.
