Resumo
Nesta pesquisa, buscamos entender a propagação da cultura Sound System jamaicana pelas periferias da Grande São Paulo. Para isso, trabalhamos questões histórico-culturais relacionadas às etnografias urbanas por meio de suas raízes afro-latino-caribenhas e de suas práticas culturais juvenis. Também, suas questões raciais relacionadas à diáspora Africana, ligadas ao reggae e suas variadas formas de expressão, como o movimento negro, colocados em debate. Neste contexto, procuramos analisar as práticas juvenis na metrópole entre seu arranjo territorial e etnográfico, buscando compreender, discutir e questionar as possibilidades da música reggae e suas mais variadas vertentes musicais, analisadas dentro do estudo antropológico. Neste sentido, as características e perspectivas do movimento serão descritas a partir do protagonismo dos próprios atuantes da cultura, entre suas reivindicações e visões de mundo dessa cultura que se articula globalmente por meio de sua formação intercultural e transnacional.
In this research, It look for to understand the spread of the jamaican Sound System culture throughout peripheries of the greater São Paulo. For that, It will work the historical-cultural questions related to urbans etnographys from roots afro-latin-caribeans and their Youth cultural practices. Also, your racial issues related to diasporic Africa, linked to the Reggae and your variety ways of expression, like the black movement, placed for debate. In this conext, It look for to analize the youth practices in the metropolis between your territorial arrangement and etnographic, seeking to understand, to discuss and to question the possibilities of reggae music and their musical variations, evidenced within the anthropological study. In this sense, the characteristics and perspectives of the movement are described from the protagonism of the actors themselves of the culture, among their reinvidactions and visions of the world of this culture that globally articulates from their intercultural formation and transnational.
