Resumo
Este estudo teve como intencao compreender experiencias de familiares sobre o significado do cuidar da crianca e do adolescente com doenca cronica. Utilizou-se a pesquisa qualitativa fenomenologica existencial hermeneutica fundamentada no pensamento Heideggeriano. Foram entrevistados familiares de criancas e adolescentes com doenca cronica, buscando desvelar o processo vivenciado e o significado atribuido pelo familiar cuidador sobre essa experiencia. As categorias emergidas atraves da interpretacao dos discursos foram: enfrentando o mundo externo, estando com o ser cuidado, sendo apoiado na religiosidade, sendo mae e o cuidar do filho doente cronico. A partir dessas categorias compreendidas foram realizadas reflexoes no sentido de rever e propor possibilidades para a pratica da assistencia de enfermagem comprometida com a familia da crianca e do adolescente doente cronico
This study intend to understand the relatives experiences concerned the meaning of care the child and adolescent with chronic disease. It was used the qualitative research of hermeneutic phenomenological which is established on the thought of Heidegger‘s concepts. It was interviewed the relatives of children and adolescents with chronic disease, investigating the meaning of this experience for the relative who is the caregiver. The categories that emerging from the interpretation were: facing the exterior world, being with the patient, being supported by faith, being mother and taking care of the child and adolescent chronically ill. Based in these reports, we made reflections to review and propose possibilities for nursing practice compromised with the family of child and adolescent chronically ill.
