The aim of this study was to develop a proposal of Taekwondo teaching that would consider the human diversity, to comprehend the didactic-pedagogical possibilities of Taekwondo teaching, and; to analyze the possible connection between Taekwondo practice and the time and space of leisure, health and life quality. Fourteen volunteers participated in the research (four at the first unity and ten at the second one), respecting the inclusion criteria: being teachers, students and employees of UNIFESP-BS; both sexes; in the age range of 18 to 70 years; with or without experiences in fights and/or in Taekwondo practice. The only exclusion criteria was a below 75% of frequency. The proposal was developed in 16 classes, with one hour of duration and frequency of two times a week. As the data collection tools, were used participant observation and application of three questionnaires. The first one with the aim of tracing the profile of the volunteers, through previous experience and what motivated them to participate of the research. The second one had the aim of verify if the expectations were being satisfied and also about what they learnt until that moment. The third one was related to the aspect of the teaching proposal as a whole and their connection with leisure, health and life quality aspects. The teaching proposal was divided in four unities (Diagnosis, Technical-tactic, Tactic-technical and Competitive Taekwondo), each one with a different focus with the aim of the volunteer to have the experience through the Taekwondo components. Given the above, has been noticed that the volunteers were satisfied with the proposal, highlighting the learning gained in the intervention. Besides, they claimed that the Taekwondo practice in this perspective was related with leisure, health and life quality aspects. In the justifications of this connection, the volunteers cited: accessibility, sociability, benefits brought by the practice. This way, we understood that is a proposal possible of being developed in any intervention contexts, including in health unities. This because, even with structural limits (location and equipment), the proposal could be developed with a great level of satisfaction of the volunteers. Thus, we understand that the proposal would not impact the high costs (financial) for the health system, being developed, including partnerships with evaluable spaces in diverse kinds of communities. With the participation of a heterogeneous group, including a diversity of previous experiences and expectations that the participants could have
