O significado da graduação de enfermagem sob prisma de um outro olhar: auxiliares e técnicos de Enfermagem

A ascensão profissional entre as diferentes categorias profissionais da
Enfermagem se dá pela qualificação formal. Atualmente, observa-se um
aumento da procura dos cursos de Graduação em Enfermagem por
profissionais auxiliares e técnicos em Enfermagem. Quando se analisa o
processo da busca da graduação de Enfermagem por esses profissionais
observa-se uma procura por aprimoramento e crescimento pessoal e
profissional. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a graduação e
seu papel no aprimoramento profissional de auxiliares/técnicos de
Enfermagem. Para atingir os objetivos propostos, foi desenvolvido um estudo
exploratório de caráter descritivo e analítico com enfoque qualitativo e
quantitativo. Esta pesquisa foi realizada junto a graduandos de Enfermagem,
auxiliares e técnicos de um hospital-escola do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS),
localizado no Município de São Paulo. Os dados foram coletados através de
instrumentos específicos, obedecendo a seguinte ordem: foi aplicado o
questionário com a escala de Likert em 22 alunos e entrevista semi-estruturada
para aprofundamento da investigação em 11 alunos. As entrevistas foram
realizadas a partir de três núcleos direcionadores: a opção pela graduação e as
expectativas com o título; a vivência no curso (facilidades e dificuldades) e
sugestões para o aprimoramento da graduação. Os dados dos questionários
foram analisados por cálculo das freqüências absolutas e relativas e
representados em gráficos. As entrevistas foram gravadas, transcritas e
analisadas por meio de análise temática. Os instrumentos foram submetidos a
um pré-teste com graduandos profissionais de Enfermagem que não faziam
parte do universo em estudo. Os resultados mostraram que os alunos
auxiliares/técnicos de Enfermagem estão cada vez mais optando pela
graduação para aprimoramento profissional, procurando uma qualidade de vida
melhor para si e seus familiares, como também ascensão social e profissional.
Estes alunos, por sua experiência prévia, possuem facilidades nos estágios
hospitalares, porém também enfrentam dificuldades por serem já da área de
Enfermagem. Não são valorizadas, na graduação, a sua experiência prévia,
sofrem discriminações por parte dos docentes, dos colegas de trabalho e dos
colegas universitários e freqüentemente enfrentam dificuldades financeiras,
condições físicas e psíquicas alteradas pelo estresse e pelo cansaço.
Desfrutam de poucas horas de sono, péssima alimentação, dupla jornada de
trabalho entre outras. Constata-se que as faculdades de Enfermagem ainda
não observaram o significado deste novo aluno que busca a graduação de
Enfermagem.
The professional ascension enters the different professional categories of the Nursing if of the one for the formal qualification. Currently, one observes an increase of the search of the courses of Graduation in Nursing for professionals auxiliary and technician in nursing. When the process of the search of the graduation of nursing for these professionals is analyzed observes a search for improvement and personal and professional growth. The present work has as objective to investigate the graduation and its paper in the professional improvement of assistant/nursing technician. To reach the considered objectives, a explorer study of descriptive and analytical character with qualitative and quantitative approach was developed. This research was carried through next to students of nursing, assistant and technician of a hospitalschool of the Only System of Health, located in the City of São Paulo. The data had been collected through specific instruments, obeying the following order: it was applied the questionnaire with the scale of Likert in 22 pupils and interview half-structuralized for deepening of the inquiry in 11 pupils. The interviews had been carried through from three nuclei directive: the option for the graduation and the expectations with the heading; the experience in the course (easinesses and difficulties) and suggestions for the improvement of the graduation. The data of the questionnaires had been analyzed by calculation of the absolute and relative and represented frequencies in graphs. The interviews recorded, transcribing and had been analyzed by means of thematic analysis. The instruments had been submitted to a daily pay-test with professional students of Nursing that were not part of the universe in study. The results had as well as shown that the pupils auxiliary/technician of Nursing are each time more opting to the graduation for professional improvement, looking to a quality of better life for itself and its familiar ones, social and professional ascension in the profession. These pupils for its previous experience possess easinesses in the hospital periods of training, however also they face difficulties for being already of the area of the Nursing. They are not valued in the graduation its previous experience, suffer discriminations on the part from the professors, the fellow workers and of the university colleagues and frequently they face financial difficulties, physical and psychic conditions modified stress by it and the fatigue. They enjoy of few hours of sleep, worst feeding, pair hours of working among others. It is observed that the facultieses of Nursing had not yet observed the meaning of this new pupil who searchs the graduation of Nursing.
