observacional, transversal, descritivo e retrospectivo, realizado no Hospital e
vitro e 90,9% destas mulheres apresentaram alguma complicação no período
Dentre as
Conclusões: As técnicas
Introduction: Since the first birth through assisted reproduction technique in 1978, the scientific community may interfere in the process of human reproduction. However, the incidence of multiple fetuses is one of the complications of this technique, which is challenging medicine. Objective: To get to know the nursing diagnoses and the perinatal results in multiple pregnancies resulting from assisted reproduction techniques. Methods: This report is about a transversal observational descriptive and retrospective study carried out at Hospital e Maternidade Santa Joana. The studied population was composed of 131 women patients medical records admitted with clinical pathologies and under labor, coming from multiple pregnancies resulting from assisted reproduction techniques, admitted into the hospital from January 2004 to December 2005. Results: the average maternal age was 33.1 years; the primiparous women represented 70.2% and the delivery outcome occurred between the 30th and the 36th week of pregnancy; 67.2% of these pregnancies resulted from IVF technique; and 90.9% of these women presented some type of complication in the gestational period, during the labor or in the puerperium. The premature labor was due to prevailing maternal complications, representing 65.6% of the patients, followed by Premature Rupture of Membranes (premature Amniorrexe) in 42% of the cases. Among the neonatal complications, the respiratory diseases stood out in 65.1% of the fetuses; the nursing diagnosis of Impaired Physical Mobility was present in all of the related pathologies. Conclusions: The assisted reproduction techniques seem to influence in the perinatal and maternal results by raising the incidence of multiple fetuses, where the premature labor was the major maternal complication found in all the assisted reproduction techniques, causing prematurity and low birth weight
