Resumo
Objetivo: Identificar os componentes da Tríade da Mulher Atleta em universitárias, traçar o perfil do consumo de macro e micronutrientes e identificar a frequência de baixa energia disponível. Método: Estudo do tipo observacional descritivo com análise quantitativa. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: anamnese, registro alimentar de três dias e registro fotográfico dos alimentos, antropometria e composição corporal. Foi realizada análise do perfil de macro e micronutrientes e nível de adequação, estimativa do gasto de energia em repouso e com exercício, parâmetros de índice de massa corpórea, massa livre de gordura e percentual de gordura, diagnóstico e magnitude do risco da Tríade. Resultados: Foram avaliadas dez atletas, sendo cinco de handebol e cinco de futsal com a média de idade de 23 (±1,9) anos. Somente uma atleta referiu diagnóstico de bulimia, e outra relatou fratura por estresse prévia e menstruação irregular. Nove atletas foram classificadas como menstruação regular, sete referiram uso de método contraceptivo. A média do consumo de macronutrientes foi 3,0g/kg/dia de carboidrato, 1,2g/kg/dia de proteína e 32% do valor calórico total de lipídios. Todas apresentaram baixa adequação aparente para ingestão magnésio e cálcio, e a média de ingestão de ferro, vitamina A, vitamina C e vitamina B12 apresentaram abaixo da Dose Dietética Recomendada (Recommended Dietary Allowance – RDA) e Ingestão Adequada (Adequate Intake – AI) para a maioria das participantes. Todas apresentaram baixa energia disponível, ou seja, ≤30 kcal/kg MLG/dia. Nove atletas apresentaram risco baixo para a Tríade e uma apresentou risco moderado. Conclusão: A frequência da baixa energia disponível foi elevada, a ingestão de carboidratos esteve abaixo da recomendação e todas as atletas apresentaram risco para a Tríade.

The macro and micronutrient profile and level of adequacy were analyzed, as well as estimates of energy expenditure at rest and during exercise, body mass index parameters, fatfree mass and fat percentage, diagnosis and magnitude of the Triad risk. Results: Tem athletes were assessed, five from handball and five from futsal, with a mean age of 23 (±1.9) years. Only one athlete was diagnosed with bulimia, and another reported a previous stress fracture and irregular menstruation. Nine athletes were classified as having regular periods and seven reported using contraception. The average consumption of macronutrients was 3.0g/kg/day of carbohydrates, 1.2g/kg/day of protein and 32% of the total caloric value of lipids. All had low apparent adequacy of magnesium and calcium intake, and the average intake of iron, vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin B12 was below the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) and Adequate Intake (AI) for most of the participants. All had low available energy, i.e. ≤30 kcal/kg MLG/day. Nine athletes were at low risk of the Triad and one was at moderate risk. Conclusion: The frequency of low available energy was high, carbohydrate intake was below the recommendation and all the athletes were at risk of the Triad.
