Resumo
A pesquisa apresenta os desafios do trabalho profissional de assistentes sociais no cuidado à saúde de trabalhadores, abordando os aspectos neoliberais como instrumento utilizado pelo capital em busca da extração máxima de lucro, resultando nas más condições de trabalho e adoecimento da classe trabalhadora. Dentre os objetivos, busca-se compreender os impactos da precarização do trabalho na saúde dos trabalhadores, discutir sobre as categorias profissionais no âmbito dos servidores públicos de Santos que têm a sua saúde comprometida pela lógica da superexploração do trabalho contemporâneo e entender a importância e desafios do trabalho profissional de assistentes sociais na saúde do trabalhador. O interesse pela pesquisa surgiu por meio das experiências adquiridas no estágio obrigatório voltado ao cuidado à saúde do servidor público, no qual colaborou com a aproximação das intervenções realizadas pelo Serviço Social nas diferentes demandas do cotidiano. Nesse sentido, para obter uma melhor apreensão da realidade, foram realizadas pesquisas bibliográficas, documentais e de campo, trazendo as vivências dos/as assistentes sociais em meio a um ataque das políticas sociais pela ideologia neoliberal. Diante disso, verificou-se que as modificações no mundo do trabalho têm sido cruciais para o adoecimento da classe trabalhadora. Destaca-se a importância do Serviço Social contribuir no cuidado à saúde do trabalhador e estar em conjunto na luta pela defesa e ampliação dos direitos.
The research presents the challenges of the professional work of social workers in workers' health care, addressing neoliberal aspects as an instrument used by capital in search of maximum profit extraction, resulting in poor working conditions and illness among the working class. Among the objectives, we seek to understand the impacts of precarious work on workers' health, discuss the professional categories within the scope of public servants in Santos whose health is compromised by the logic of overexploitation of contemporary work and understand the importance and challenges of the professional work of social workers in occupational health. The interest in research arose through the experiences acquired in the mandatory internship focused on the health care of public servants, in which he collaborated with the approaches carried out by Social Services in the different demands of daily life. In this sense, to obtain a better understanding of reality, bibliographical, documentary and field research was carried out, bringing together the experiences of social workers in the midst of an attack on social policies by neoliberal ideology. In view of this, it was found that changes in the world of work have been crucial to the illness of the working class. The importance of Social Service to contribute to workers' health care and to be involved in the fight for the defense and expansion of rights is highlighted.
