Análise quantitativa dos impactos nas principais operadoras de planos de saúde por alterações regulatórias na Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar

Abstract

Este estudo buscou analisar o comportamento da evolução das receitas de contraprestação e as despesas assistenciais das principais operadoras de planos de saúde coletivos empresariais no Brasil, principais indicadores econômicos e alvo de análise de investidores para aferir a saúde financeira das empresas, ao longo dos anos de 2008 e 2018 e a relação às alterações realizadas no Rol de Procedimentos da Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar por meio de observação da mudança do coeficiente angular da reta da evolução das receitas e despesas ao longo dos anos em que houve alterações regulatórias. Foi possível observar que houve significativas mudanças no comportamento da curva temporal das duas variáveis nos períodos em que o órgão regulador alterou sua norma básica e que as mudanças na legislação trazem impactos para as operadoras, podendo ser distinto de acordo com a empresa.

This study aims to analyze the behavior of the evolution of the revenues and the assistance expenses of the main operators of collective corporate health plans in Brazil, main economic indicators and target of analysis of investors to assess the financial health of the companies, between the years 2008 and 2018 and the relation with the changes made to the List of Procedures of the Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar by observing the change in the angular coefficient of the line of evolution of revenues and expenses over the years in which there were regulatory changes. It was possible to observe that there were significant changes in the behavior of the temporal curve of the two variables in the periods in which the regulatory body changed its basic rule and that changes in legislation bring impacts to the operators, which can be different according to the company.
