Debêntures de infraestrutura como fonte de financiamento para as empresas investidas dos fundos de private equity: uma análise para o ano de 2021

Abstract

O objetivo central desta pesquisa é realizar um estudo acerca das debêntures de infraestrutura como instrumento de captação de recursos, especificamente, pelas companhias detidas pelos fundos de Private Equity no Brasil. Para tanto, foi realizado uma análise da literatura nacional e internacional para entender o instrumento de captação, debêntures de infraestrutura, e o setor dos fundos de Private Equity, bem como o setor de infraestrutura em si. Além disso, foram analisadas bases de dados divulgas pela ANBIMA, bem como relatórios divulgados pelas principais gestoras de Private Equity no Brasil e a associação do setor. No âmbito da análise do mercado de debêntures de infraestrutura foi entendido se as emissões por investidas de Private Equity representam uma parte importante. Adicionalmente, sob a ótica de analisar tal grupo, foi discriminado os setores mais beneficiados por essas captações.

The main objective of this research is to carry out a study about infrastructure debentures as an instrument for raising funds, specifically, by companies owned by Private Equity funds in Brazil. To this end, an analysis of national and international literature was carried out to understand the funding instrument, infrastructure debentures, and the Private Equity funds sector, as well as the infrastructure sector itself. In addition, databases released by ANBIMA were analyzed, as well as reports released by the main Private Equity managers in Brazil and the industry association. Within the framework of the analysis of the infrastructure debentures market, it was understood whether issues by Private Equity investees represent an important part. Additionally, from the perspective of analyzing this group, the sectors most benefited by these fundings were broken down.
