O impacto da guerra Ucrânia x Rússia sobre a Bolsa de valores

Abstract

O presente trabalho possui como objetivo analisar o efeito da guerra entre Rússia e Ucrânia sobre as ações da Bolsa de Valores oficial do Brasil. A metodologia utilizada é a do Retorno Anormal Acumulado (CAR). Para a pesquisa serão testadas as empresas da B3, analisando o retorno de cada ação em relação ao Ibovespa. Após esse teste, analisar se os papéis sofreram impacto com a guerra e se há a presença de retornos anormais que possam ser associados a guerra, ou seja, se o evento gerou grande influência na bolsa. Assim como, verificar determinados setores e quais podem ser explicados pelo conflito, citando possíveis motivos desse resultado.

The present work aims to analyze the effect of the war between Russia and Ukraine on the shares of the official Brazilian Stock Exchange. The methodology used is the Accumulated Abnormal Return. For the survey, B3 companies will be tested, analyzing the return of each share in relation to the Ibovespa. After this test, analyze whether the shares were impacted by the war and whether there are abnormal returns that may be associated with the war, that is, whether the event generated great influence on the stock exchange. As well as, verify if there is a pattern of sectors and which ones can be explained by the conflict, citing possible reasons for this result.
