Climate change poses a serious threat to life on planet Earth. The risks are high, because several environmental imbalances can be triggered. Public perception surveys on this issue can contribute to the promotion of social debates and the establishment of effective public policies in the area. Therefore, the present work intends to know the attitudes, perceptions and knowledge of future Science teachers about global warming. It is a survey or survey, in which individuals whose behavior is desired to know were questioned, through a questionnaire, in the case of this research, with an online application. In all, 86 students responded to the survey questionnaire; participation was anonymous and voluntary. In general, the results reveal that the participants have satisfactory knowledge about global warming and positive perceptions about various aspects related to their attitude towards this environmental issue; the exception is the ability to teach on the subject itself, as the responses to this item indicated a certain degree of uncertainty and insecurity. The data reveal the importance that, as the student advances in the formal schooling process, the global warming theme receives more and more attention, with the due degree of detail and depth. The study also demonstrates the role played by informal and nonformal education modalities in terms of learning about the subject in question.
